Pride in Our Communities Strategy

The Pride in Our Communities Strategy 2024–2032 is the Queensland Government’s long-term commitment to building a safer, fairer, and more inclusive state for LGBTQIA+ communities. This whole-of-government strategy outlines key actions across priority areas such as health, housing, education, employment, and justice — ensuring LGBTQIA+ Queenslanders can live with dignity, safety, and pride in every corner of our state. It was shaped through consultation with community members, advocates, and organisations to reflect the real needs and aspirations of LGBTQIA+ people.

 

The Queensland LGBTQIA+ Alliance supports this vision and continues to work alongside government and community partners to ensure meaningful change reaches every part of our community.
