The Queensland LGBTQIA+ Alliance is proud to announce the LGBTQIA+ Sector Forum in Gimuy, Far North Queensland. Building on the success and momentum of the Carswell Forum in Brisbane, we continue our joint efforts to drive generational, long-lasting change in our LGBTQIA+ Sector in Queensland.
Bringing together the LGBTQIA+ community, key stakeholders, governments, and industry to learn, share, and amplify exceptional work by, for, and with LGBTQIA+ Queenslanders.

Getting to Gimuy / Cairns
Attendees travelling to Gimuy (Cairns) for the Forum will find the city easy to access and navigate. Cairns Airport is located approximately 10–15 minutes from the CBD, providing convenient access to the city.
The CBD is compact and walkable, with accommodation, dining and key amenities located close to the forum venue.

Cairns offers several convenient transport options for forum attendees:

Car hire is available at Cairns Airport and throughout the CBD.
• By Taxi & Rideshare
